As part of the ongoing Derivatives Webinar Series deployed by FMDQ Securities Exchange ("FMDQ Exchange" or the "Exchange") under the FMDQ Derivatives Market Development Project (the “Project”) to deliver bespoke and targeted training courses to financial markets participants and stakeholders on Exchange-Traded Derivatives (“ETDs”) products and markets, to promote their readiness for the imminent launch of the FMDQ ETD market in 2021, we are pleased to announce that the Exchange has partnered with KPMG Professional Services ("KPMG") to deliver a training course titled "Accounting and Financial Reporting for Exchange-Traded Derivatives" to relevant staff of market participants and other stakeholders. The course aimed at educating participants on the general principles of accounting and financial reporting of ETDs under the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”). Target Audience: Finance and Accounting staff and personnel of Banks, Securities Dealing Firms, Asset/Fund Managers (including Pension Fund Administrators), Insurance Companies and Corporates.
